Data Deletion Instructions

Astrolade respects your right to privacy and your "Right to be Forgotten" under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). If you wish to delete your account, remove your astrological data, or unlink third-party authentication providers (such as Google or Facebook), please follow the instructions below.
1. Requesting Account Deletion
To permanently delete your Astrolade account and all associated personal data (including saved birth charts and generated reports), please send an email from the email address associated with your account to:
support@astrolade.co.uk
Subject Line: Data Deletion Request
Body: Please include a statement confirming that you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data.
2. What Happens When Your Account is Deleted?
- Profile Data: Your email address, name, and login credentials will be permanently erased.
- Astrological Data: All saved birth dates, times, locations, and generated AI reports will be permanently deleted from our active databases.
- Subscriptions: Any active subscriptions will be immediately cancelled. You will lose access to premium features instantly. No refunds will be issued for remaining time on your billing cycle.
- Financial Data: We do not store raw credit card details. However, Stripe (our payment processor) and our internal transaction logs will retain a record of your past purchases for up to 6 years to comply with UK tax and accounting laws.
3. Third-Party OAuth Disconnect (Facebook / Google)
If you logged in to Astrolade using a third-party provider like Facebook or Google and wish to revoke our app's access to your profile:
For Facebook:
- Go to your Facebook account Settings & Privacy.
- Click "Settings".
- Navigate to "Apps and Websites".
- Find "Astrolade" in the list of active apps.
- Click "Remove".
Note: Removing the app from Facebook revokes future access but does not automatically delete the data we already hold. You must still email us to request full data deletion from our servers.
For Google:
- Go to your Google Account (myaccount.google.com).
- Click "Security" on the left navigation panel.
- Scroll down to "Third-party apps with account access" and click "Manage third-party access".
- Select "Astrolade" and click "Remove Access".
4. Processing Time
We will process all verified data deletion requests within 30 days of receipt, in accordance with UK GDPR requirements. We will notify you via email once your data has been successfully erased.
