Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms govern the recurring billing and auto-renewal policies for premium memberships on Astrolade (e.g., the Master Astrologer Pass). These terms are in addition to our general Terms of Service.

1. Auto-Renewal & Billing Cadence

By purchasing a subscription, you authorise Astrolade (and our payment processor, Stripe) to automatically charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected at checkout).

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. The renewal charge will be the same as the initial subscription price unless we notify you of a price change in advance.

2. Cancellation Process

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing. To cancel, please log in to your Astrolade account, navigate to the Dashboard or Account Settings, and select "Cancel Subscription".

Timing Rule: To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

3. Post-Cancellation Access

If you cancel your subscription, you will not receive a refund for the current billing cycle. However, you will continue to have access to all premium features until the end of your currently paid period. Once the period expires, your account will revert to the free tier.

4. Failed Payments & Grace Periods

If a recurring payment fails (e.g., due to an expired card or insufficient funds), our payment processor will attempt to retry the charge over a short grace period (typically 3 to 7 days). During this grace period, your access to premium features may be temporarily suspended.

If the payment cannot be successfully processed after the final retry attempt, your subscription will be automatically cancelled.

5. Price Changes

We reserve the right to adjust pricing for our subscriptions in the future. If the price of your active subscription increases, we will provide you with at least 30 days' advance notice via email. If you do not agree to the new price, you must cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
